This is an Asatru ritual to honor the Goddess Idunna.
For Heathens, a blót is a ceremony to honor the Gods and share their blessing with all. In the North Idunna and her sacred apples are the source of renewal and rejuvenation for the Gods. It is she who keeps them young.
Hauk Heimdallsman is best known as a Heathen musician, playing with the bands Elf Queen and Black Hat Society. He has also been a devout Asatruar for about 20 years, primarily working with the god Heimdall. He is a member of Heimdall’s Lur Kindred.
