Some of the most memorable moments at Pagan Community Retreat begin when someone says, “I would love to share this with the community.”

PCR welcomes artists, storytellers, musicians, craftspeople, covens, groves, kindreds, elders, academics, independent practitioners, and other members of the Pagan community to help create our weekend of learning, spiritual exploration, creativity, and connection.

You do not need to be a professional teacher or a recognized expert. If you have knowledge, experience, a practice, or a tradition that you can share thoughtfully and responsibly, we would love to hear your idea.

What Can You Present?

Over the years, PCR presenters have brought the community together through experiences such as:

  • Public rituals and seasonal observances
  • Hands-on magical and devotional practices
  • Pagan arts, crafts, and creative activities
  • Divination, meditation, energy work, and healing practices
  • Music, chanting, storytelling, and performance
  • Discussions of Pagan traditions, history, and cosmology
  • Nature-based and earth-centered practices
  • Facilitated conversations about community, identity, and spiritual life
  • Activities designed for children, families, or participants of all ages

This is not an exhaustive list. Paganism is wonderfully difficult to fit into a tidy little box, and our programming should reflect the diversity of the community itself. If your idea of what to present at Pagan Community Retreat can help people learn, create, connect, reflect, celebrate, or experience something meaningful together, we encourage you to submit it.

A Few Things to Know

We schedule most workshops, discussions, activities, and rituals for approximately 45 to 50 minutes. The Programming Committee may give more involved activities an extended session or additional programming slot.

PCR is a community-supported event and does not pay presenters or waive registration fees. All confirmed presenters must register for the retreat and follow the PCR Presenter Policy and Event Code of Conduct.

Presenters may request a reasonable materials fee when a workshop requires consumable supplies or allows participants to create something to take home. Include any proposed fee in your programming submission so the Programming Committee can review and approve it in advance. The committee may set a maximum fee, limit the number of participants, require advance sign-up, or list the fee in the event schedule. We will always tell attendees about additional charges before they choose an activity.

Recording or photographing a presentation or ritual may also require advance approval and additional attendee notices. Please review the Presenter Policy for complete details.
