Alcohol is allowed. We ask that drinking be done responsibly. If a person or group becomes disruptive, that person or group will be excluded from further activity at this camp-out and future camp-outs, and asked to leave the campground when sober.
No illegal drugs are permitted on the premises. If you have a prescription, we suggest you speak with your physician prior to attending the camp-out. We will be on private lands and this is a gray area. We strongly encourage you to continue your prescription medications during the camp-out. Wanting to be “free” of your regular medications may cause complications and we have no medical staff. It could be some time before medical help can be contacted or an emergency is treated.
Campfires: Obey any restrictions on fires. Fires may be limited or prohibited at certain times. Fires may only be built in fire rings, stoves, grills, or fireplaces provided for that purpose. Be sure your fire is completely extinguished before retiring for the night or leaving the camp ground. Do not leave your fire unattended. You are responsible for keeping fires under control.
Please be mindful of your neighbors when smoking, using smoke or incense, or any substance that could affect allergies or children.
Camping: If you are staying at the campground, please do not set up camp in the community areas or restricted areas. See the camp map or ask the information booth if you are unsure.
Emergency, Injury, or Health problems: In case of an emergency, immediately contact the information booth and first committee member you can. We suggest you bring your own first-aid Kit. If additional assistance is required, emergency personnel will be contacted at the expense of the guest. If you have a health condition that is not stabilized or is only recently stabilized, you may want to reconsider attending the camp-out. It is not advisable to participate in programs of this nature if you are unsure, please consult your Doctor. If you have a mental health condition, and it is not stabilized or is only recently stabilized, then you may want to reconsider attending the camp-out. It is not advisable to participate in programs of this nature. If you are unsure, please consult any and all of your medical professionals follow their advice.
Food: All food must be kept in a container or cooler when not used and stored away from your tent and preferably in a car. (Food must be managed properly and any food not properly stored will attract wildlife, which may jeopardize patrons of the campout.)
Nature: Please preserve and protect the natural flora and fauna of the campground. Do not carve, chop, cut and damage any live trees, bushs or weeds, they might be another animal’s food source. All hay must be certified weed free (regular weeds.) do not hammer nails into trees, fences, or structures. Ropes and tape are the only things that can be used.
Noise: No generators, live bands or loud music, unless used in a scheduled community activity. The quiet hours are between 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Socialization often continues at the Main Fire pit into the wee hours. Since sounds do travel better at night, please be considerate of others. If you are a light sleeper you might want to try camping away from the area.
Parking: All vehicles, RVs, and trailers must be parked in designated areas. Please follow instructions for your assigned campsite.
Pets are allowed. They must be restrained at all times and socialized to deal with crowds and other animals. Owners are responsible for cleanup and behavior. If your pet becomes stressed during the campout, we recommend having a backup plan of a friend or relative who can take the pet home. A pet that becomes agitated, noisy, etc., may be asked to leave the premises. Know your animal, how they do in these situations, and please be responsible. Coyotes do frequent the area and there are farm animals present. Pets must not agitate or harass the farm animals.
Photos and videos: We ask that anyone taking photographs or video first asks the people being captured for permission. If the intention is to post the photos publicly you must also gain approval from the subjects. When posting on social media please do not tag other people. Recheck all photos before posting on-line. You could crop or blur if you wish. Please remove photos if requested. Be aware that not everyone is out of the broom closet with coworkers and/or family.Please see Presenter Policy for rules and regulations regarding photos and video during lectures, events, rituals, programming, etc.
Sanitation: There are several composting toilets. Solar showers may be provided by the campground at a fee, please pick up after yourself and others to keep the restroom experience more pleasant. Hand wash stations are provided as well. Keep water conservation in mind please. A flush toilet is also available for solids only.
Trash, Garbage and Litter: All garbage and litter must either be deposited in the trash bins (see map), or taken with you when you leave. Do not leave any trash behind. Please leave natural areas better than the way you find them. Please use a pack-in pack-out system, any and all packaging from new equipment will need to be taken with you upon your leave and not thrown in the site trash.
Water: Limited water is available for guests (use sparingly). Campers and day-campers are encouraged to bring their own drinking water while avoiding individual bottles if possible . If emergency water is needed go to the train car.
Weapons, Firearms and Explosives: Axes, athames, swords, and other blades are allowed and only to be only used for camping or ritual use. All blades should be kept sheathed and out of the reach or access of children when not in use. No firearms are permitted and there is no shooting range. Use of fireworks or other explosives within campgrounds and other recreation areas is prohibited.
Children: Children are encouraged to come to the camp-out. Parents are responsible for children at all times and children are never to be left alone without a guardian.
