We are a chapter of CUUPS (The Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans). We are pagan. We are church. We are inclusive. We are all of that and more. CUUPS offers an opportunity for interfaith work, crafting partnerships, hosting the public and nurturing sacred spaces. How do we do what we do? Let’s find out. Our workshop will be centered around learning about cairns and what they represent. Did you know that cairns represent peace, calm, meditation, and grounding? Let’s build a cairn together as an expression of how we can ground and center using the elements around us. This practice helps us build and balance within the community. Open Heart Grove (CUUPS) advocates for, educates about and celebrates Earth-based spirituality within the Neighborhood Unitarian Universalist Church (Pasadena, CA) congregation and the community at large. Open Heart Grove (CUUPS) encourages interfaith dialogue, and ensures that different traditions are honored in education and worship at Neighborhood UU Church and beyond. The Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) exists in part to promote the practice and understanding of Pagan and Earth-centered Spirituality within the Unitarian Universalist Association and to enable networking among Pagan-identified Unitarian Universalists. `
